Counselor in Denver for Teens, Young Adults, Individuals, Professionals & Families
As a counselor in Denver for teenagers, young adults, and families, Peek Counseling specializes in helping youths and their families understand each other better. My practice started from working in the school system and non-profit world. I found that I really wanted to help kids, young adults and families with therapy in my own style (with some fun and a lot of honesty).
After some time as a counselor in Denver, my therapy practice also began to include fellow counselors. As the “counselor for the counselor” I am able to really understand the challenges that are unique to being a counselor in Denver and the surrounding areas. Having lived here nearly my entire life, I have so much love for my fellow counselors here in Denver, and I know how to relate to them.
How I Knew I Wanted to Be a Counselor in Denver
As I mentioned, I have lived here most of my life and have a special fondness for Colorado! I love being outdoors and everything that Denver and Colorado have to offer. As a counselor in Denver, I work with teenagers, young adults and anyone struggling with:
- self-esteem
- anxiety
- depression
- perfectionism
- their careers or what to do next
- life transitions
- body image
- family problems
- relationship issues
…just most of the things that so many of us go through from time to time.
When I am able to see a light come back on in my client’s eyes, and see the work that they do to cope with and make their situations better, it’s everything to me. I know that despite every hardship that comes our way, with the right support, we can get through it and get our sparkle back! I want to help you and your family get back on track. And, I hope for a good experience in counseling with me where you learn tools to help you in the future when you need them.
Putting the Pieces Back Together
Sometimes you might feel like there’s no way to solve the problems at hand, or that it’s “too late” or you’re not strong enough. My goal is to encourage and empower you and help you see that there is a light ahead and a light inside.
You are amazing! Incredible! Powerful! Wonderful! You can shine.
I hope if this resonates with you, that you’ll consider coming in or calling for a complimentary meet and greet session to see if we’re a good fit for each other.
